He gave a likely cause over the phone, and asked me to bring it in. Once there he explained next steps and then texted through a quote which seemed very reasonable. But the best bit - he messaged me the very next day saying it'll be ready in an hour. That kind of turnaround is UNHEARD of in my experience with various repair centres.
